POLYMERIS strengthens its presence at the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire Region

Inauguration during Polymeris Scientific Day

The inauguration is part of the Polymeris Scientific Day on "Aging and Durability", organized on Tuesday December 12 at the CNRS in Orléans, in partnership with the IPC Industrial Technical Center and the Centre National d'Evaluation de Photo Protection (CNEP). This annual event highlights the research work carried out by academics as part of projects supported by the cluster. The event attracted some 50 participants.

The inauguration featured speeches by Anne BESNIER, Vice-President of the Centre-Val de Loire Region, responsible for higher education; René REVAULT, Honorary President of POLYMERIS; and Pénélope COUTURE, Regional Manager, Centre-Val de Loire, PÔLE DE COMPÉTITIVITÉ CARA.

New team, new project manager in January - 5 people in total in the region!

Polymeris expands its dedicated team with the arrival of a new project manager in January, bringing the total to five members.

Strategic partnership with the CARA cluster

This inauguration is also an opportunity to announce our strategic partnership with the CARA cluster, recently established in our new premises with Pénélope COUTURE, Regional Manager Centre-Val de Loire, PÔLE DE COMPÉTITIVITÉ CARA... This partnership aims to strengthen the automotive sector in the region, fostering innovation and forging closer links with industry.

Polytronics and EDIH in action

Finally, let's remember that the Polytronics EDIH, launched in 2023 in collaboration with the University of Orléans, CRESITT, and the Dev'up economic development agency, supports polymer materials companies in their digital transformation thanks to artificial intelligence. Polytronics offers a one-stop shop to connect companies to the resources and ecosystems they need to succeed digitally.
