ASTER Project: Call for prototypes and outdoor products
The ASTER project consortium, of which POLYMERIS is a partner, is launching a call for prototypes and products, open to French companies located in the Interreg Alpine Space program regions (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur).
Do you produce textile products for the outdoor sector? By responding to this call, you can take part in a collaborative development process integrating:
- An assessment of the sustainability of your product and support in your design/production by experts from the University of Innsbruck (Austria),
- Support in the development of a circular business model proposed by the financial agency of the Liguria region (Italy).
The intended application is a sustainable/circular outdoor jacket or jacket component that meets the requirements for weather protection and insulation. This may be an existing product or one currently under development. It must also have a sustainable or circular dimension related to one or more of the following themes: eco-design, reduction of waste and materials used, reuse, repairability, recycling, use of recycled materials.
In addition to the support offered, the process includes participation in an interregional co-design workshop, and the promotion of the product developed at events and in publications of the ASTER project, bringing together partners from France, Austria, Italy, Germany and Slovenia.
The call is open until July 31, 2025.
Several companies may be selected; the one with the best evaluation score will be able to benefit from financial support of up to €6,000 excluding VAT.
The call is aimed at SMEs located in the French Alpine region. However, financial support is only granted to a company on the condition that it is a member of Techtera.
