JEC World 2026: Three Days at the Heart of the Composites Industry

From March 10 to 12, 2026, Polymeris, alongside the Techtera textile competitiveness cluster, participated in the JEC WORLD trade show, an international gathering for the composites industry. Located in Hall 5 – Booth F97, the joint pavilion served as a hub for manufacturers, partners, and innovation leaders.

A shared pavilion to showcase local expertise

Throughout the trade show, the Polymeris & Techtera pavilion showcased the expertise of its co-exhibitors:
ADDIPLAST, Carbon Waters, Plasmalex (Coating Plasma Innovation), Fotia DMT, Francem, MARDUEL, Montdor, N. Schlumberger, SOPARA, TF Études, TISSTECH and OPS Plastique.
This booth showcases the network’s diversity and dynamism, while providing greater visibility for the participating companies.

A first day focused on Europe

On Tuesday, a networking cocktail reception brought together partners from several European projects (BIOntier, ZEvRA, THERMOFIRE, BIO-UPTAKE, EOLO-HUBS, MAT4EU and IDEALIST). This opportunity for discussion allowed participants to present current opportunities for SMEs and strengthen ties with the European ecosystem.

In the afternoon, an initial matchmaking session, organized as part of the IDEALIST project in partnership with GIE Albatros, allowed several members to pitch their activities and expand their networks. Our members (NAWAH, AcXys Technologies, Plasmalex and SPECIFIC POLYMERS) introduced themselves during a relaxed gathering.

Stronger inter-cluster synergies

Wednesday was marked by several highlights. A networking breakfast brought together members of Polymeris and the ASTech cluster (aeronautics, space, and defense), featuring more than a dozen company presentations.
In the afternoon, B2B meetings and pitch sessions brought together more than twenty industry representatives from the Polymeris and Aerospace Valley networks, fostering the identification of new collaboration opportunities.
The day concluded with a networking cocktail reception organized in partnership with Polyvia, bringing together many members in a friendly atmosphere.

Recent Discussions and Outlook

On Thursday, a new IDEALIST matchmaking session, held at the Polymeris booth with members of the Albatros Economic Interest Group in attendance, provided an opportunity to continue the discussions. Several companies, including Potez Aéronautique, CGREEN, Loiretech, Web Industries, Cogit Composites, and Socomore, presented their activities, paving the way for future collaborations.

A proven role as a connector

Over the course of these three days, Polymeris once again demonstrated its role as a network leader and facilitator of connections, both in France and internationally.
A big thank you to all members, partners, and visitors for attending and for the fruitful discussions.

This collective initiative is financially supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
