Focus on the POLYMERIS Industrial Committee: its role and missions
The Industrial Committee plays a central role in the life and operation of the cluster. Its main mission is to support the industrialization and market access of our members' innovative projects, notably by facilitating their financing.
It is made up of financiers, innovation consultancies, industrialists and institutional representatives with complementary skills in finance, business, intellectual property (IP) and market access.

Why contact the Comité Industriel?
You can call on the Industrial Committee before :
- Bringing a new product or process to market,
- A major investment,
- Fund-raising.
A meeting with this committee gives you expert feedback on the economic and industrial viability of your solution. An in-depth analysis of market prospects is also carried out.
How the Committee works
The Committee meets every 3 months to hear members' projects.
Audition procedure: Following the presentation of a project, two experts meet with the promoter to deepen the analysis around the following themes:
- Technological maturity,
- Industrial maturity,
- Current and potential market(s),
- Strategy and means of access to market(s),
- Human resources,
- Freedom to operate and other legal aspects,
- Cash flow,
- projected income statements.
A full report is then sent to the project manager, including :
- Identification of levers for improvement,
- The possibility of obtaining the cluster's label.
The complementary missions of the Industrial Committee
In addition to its main role, the Comité Industriel fulfils two major missions:
- Strengthen the interface between the industrial community and financiers (banks, financing organizations, funds, etc.). This is achieved in particular through an annual industry day dedicated to financing SMEs and start-ups in the polymer sector.
- Expand the range of possibilities for our industrial players by strengthening links with incubators, gas pedals, SATTs and other communities (such as Hi France and Cluster Invest).
