A look back at the PRSE trade fair in Amsterdam and the BFC visitor mission
A major European event for plastics recycling.
On March 31 and April 1, 2025, the PRSE-Plastic Recycling Show Europe was held in Amsterdam. A must-attend event covering the entire supply chain from raw materials to recycled polymer designed and incorporated into new products and applications, including design for recycling, collection, sorting and recycling of industrial, commercial, agricultural, post-consumer and ocean plastics.
A record edition
The 2025 edition broke all records, with over 500 exhibitors, more than 75 expert speakers and a record 13,325 attendees over the two days.
Among the exhibitors, several of our members were present:
A visitor mission organized by POLYMERIS and the CCI Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
Thanks to the financial support of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, POLYMERIS and the CCI BFC organized a visitor mission to enable 5 manufacturers to discover the show:
Participants were able to explore the two exhibition halls on their own, as well as taking part in a group innovation tour, including a special visit to the BOBINE stand.
Meeting with Business France, Circular Plastics NL and TNO
The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté delegation also met with the Grand Est delegation, including our member KOMAX among the participants. On this occasion, we were received at the French Consulate in Amsterdam by teams from the Bureau Business France Netherlands, for a presentation of TNO and Circular Plastics NL, major players in circular innovation.
These moments of networking and exchange were invaluable throughout the event.
What's next: sharing experience and looking ahead to 2026
To extend discussions and share lessons learned from the show, a feedback webinar is being organized in partnership with Polyvia on May 15, 2025. It will review the major trends and innovations identified at PRSE 2025, with testimonials from exhibitors and visitors.
Finally, we look forward to seeing you at the next edition of the PRSE, which will take place on May 5 & 6, 2026. POLYMERIS will be exhibiting alongside its members, with a co-exhibition offer that you can now download below!
